I "hung out" with Don Holden, Gary Schild, Bob Shuta, Paul Waters, and Dennis Super, and actually, I still do!

Did I ever tell you about the time Dave Williams, Paul Waters, Gary Schild, Dave Wiggins, Bob Shuta, and I (of course) were at the upper pavilion at

Arnold Park, sipping a few brews, and we got the bright idea to put 2 picnic tables

on the roof, straddling the peak? (See Story on Dick's page 6/20/00)

Wanted to also mention Paul Waters; who was also a '65 grad; Paul is a Civil Engineer and a partner in the firm Shumaker Civil Engineers located in Vestal;

Paul spent 13 mos in Vietnam shortly after high school and saw a lot of action; he was fortunate to get out alive.  He and his wife, Linda, live in Apalachin,

Dennis remembers the hangouts of the Vestal kids, like Poncho's Pitt. Also Philip Van Vliet, Dick McCoy, Paul Waters. He is still friends with Dick and

Paul, who have visited in Aurora in past years.

 Yes, Phil (Van Vliet) & Paul lived down the street from me...but I haven't seen them since the 60's!
