Candy wasn't the only one not to go to the Senior Prom by herself. Laura Crandall or maybe Judy Halter also had wrestler dates. Candy thinks the match

did end in time for the guys to attend the prom.

Candy heard that Laura Crandall Haney lives or had lived in Salt Lake at one time.

Among others I saw (at 25th class reunion) were Jimmy the K of course, Knute Seebohm, Jim Haley, Nikki Callahan (she & Jim are divorced & both

remarried to others), Barb Friend, Averill Clarke, Cora Hasley,

Rosalie Kocian, Bob Haney (& Laura Crandall Haney) and even my old heartthrob, Judy Halter - and it was like no time had gone by, we just fell into the

old patterns.

Laura writes in Cynthia's yearbook: "Cynthia! Best wishes always in all that you do. Remember the theatre 6th priod. May you find peace and happiness.

Laura is  living in Newark Valley according to '95 Alumni Book. Her family moved away from Vestal when Laura's brother Bob was a Senior. He stayed with

the family of a friend of Marge's to finish the school year. He was a good soccer player

but broke his leg playing when staying with the friend's family.

According to the Vestal Alumni Directory (2000), Laura is an RN/Homemaker living in the Newark Valley with husband Robert. She has 5 children.

I saw something in the Yearbook that intrigued.

The caption next to Laura says, among other things, "Pres. Of the National Nurd Convention" Laura, a Nerd? Well yes. But I thought that term had its

genesis years later. Guess not. There we have it in black and white 1965.

Rich McLean asked who the harried  person on p.33 of the yearbook is…He thought it was Pamela Howell, but Joanne says that's Laura Crandall who

married Bob Haney and lives in Newark Valley, active in Mormon Church
