Did you know I dated Ann Knapp?  Spring of my junior year, I went head over heels for her.

 She probably still misses me (If she's ever even thought of me in the last 35 years).  Good thing I've got a good sense of humor.  Life could be a drag.

A Judith Knapp was just  was just appointed Acting Superintendent of Education for the Northwest Territories. Wonders if this might be Ann's sister.

(Anything's possible these days!) There is a sophomore J.Knapp in our Yearbook who looks a lot like Ann

I surprised Andy by calling her last night. Ann and her husband live in Syaracuse. She has two boys. She is listed in the Vestal 2000 Alumni Directory as

Ampbellnaum, so there's another error in that otherwise excellent directory.

Ann was unaware of the Vestal65 web page, so I pointed her  there through the Vestal HS Web site and that we're having a reunion with no travel fare at

all! So we hope to hear a lot more from Ann as she joins the reunion.

Ann said Kathleen Hanus also live in Syracuse and she promised to let Kathleen know so that she can join the class reunion too.

My memories of Ann were of a beautiful, bright girl, serious but friendly with a dry wit and a good sense of humor. And she has always been on my

"admire from a far" list.

Ann's sister was Mary Lou Knapp...not Judith. I saw her about 10 years ago… she & her Mom were at the nursery school where I taught. She was a VERY

nice person, and I imagine, still is

Can't remember what her name is now...but I think I can find out. Would that make you happy?I honestly don't remember Mary Lou being at Vestal...she

may have gone to Seton...or perhaps a private school. I'll see what I can do.
